Preview: Wenceslas Castle folk night at the Leaf Tea Shop

CHECK (or should that be Czech?) out the first Wenceslas Castle folk at the Leaf Tea Shop on Upper Parliament St tomorrow (Friday January 8) night.
They have How's My Pop frontman Andrew Raven (www.myspace.com/howsmypop) showing off his discreet thirst for the folk tradition with his delicately stunning guitar playing and a way with words.
Then psyche popsters The Low Countries (www.myspace.com/thelowcountries) will take to the stage, followed by Ottersgear (www.myspace.com/ottersgear), who are being billed as a folky Arcade Fire.
Then my favourites The Random Family (www.myspace.com/therandomfamily1)will be bringing their collective merriment to the party. The fun starts at 8pm. Get there early for a good seat.
