I've done an interview with Shane MacGowan from The Pogues for my music page in Friday's Echo. While doing some research, I found this footage of my favourite of his songs, performed in Dublin by the superb Damien Dempsey. Bliss....

Good to see Damien's back during this year's Liverpool Irish Festival, playing with Sharon Shannon Big Band at the Phil (are you allowed to mention other venues on the Echo website these days, or only things at the Echo arena?)

Haha! No, I can talk about any venues. We love the Phil and lots of the other great places in town. Can't wait for Damo, but in the meantime we have Shane in a few weeks. Here's hoping for Rainy Night in Soho...
