In the next part of our Summer pops Festival Q&A interviews, we have former Space singer Tommy Scott and his current band The Drellas

Tell us about your band... and how did it all begin for you?

Tommy- I'm Tommy an I sing an play guitar... Then there's Masha who sings plays keys and guitar.. Then Thil who plays bass and beard ... And Allen on drums .....
The Drellas are the antithesis of all things previously assosiated with Liverpool music a new sonic breeze..

What are your influences, what do you sound like?

Tommy - Childhood anxiety...Phil- Poverty and Masha - lack of sex......

If your band was a super hero, what would his or her super power be?

Tommy- telepathic hairdressing !!!!!

What are you most looking forward to about this year's Summer Pops Festival?

Tommy- Playing with BuZZcocks on the 10th July

What are you least looking forward to about this year's Summer Pops Festival?

Tommy - Mcfly????????!!!!!!!!

What advice would you give to an audience member coming to Liverpool for the first time?

Tommy- come to a Drellas gig and check out liverpools underground scene... Liverpool has some much more to offer than mop tops an jangly guitars!!!!!

Other than your own show, what's your hot tip for Liverpool in 2009?

Tommy - Antipop taking over the world!!!!!!!!!!

What do you dream of?

Tommy - Big green aliens with large members...
