Well whip off my skirt and call me Cheryl...it's that time of the year again.
In living rooms around the country Brits will be happily sitting pointing and laughing, egged on by Terry Wogan’s cheeky commentary, and we'll be blogging every step of the way.

Eurovision is a celebration of all that’s silly, camp and over-the-top, where families can sit down together and laugh at the odd people from over the sea.
We’ll be running a live blog of the whole night from our Eurovision party, commenting on every act as it’s on, and we’d love you to join the party and add your comments as events unfold. It’s a bit of a first for us, so log on at 8pm GMT on Saturday and give your views.

Gordon Ross:
A live blog Eurovision party. There are so many uncool elements in that concept that it must be cool.
Colin Turnock:
With all the Eastern European countries voting for each other, there should be two separate shows, one for Eastern Europe and the other for Western Europe...then we might stand a chance!
salvador dalai:
An artist describes real social relationships with the purpose of destroying the conventional ideas about those relationships, undermining bourgeoisie optimism and forcing the public to doubt the tenets of the established order. The first sense of eurovision is this, to repeat, over and over again, in case anyone forgets it or believes the contrary that we do not live in the best possible of all worlds. I guess that’s all it amounts to. In any case, I believe that the class struggle is no longer the central problem. The real issue is survival.
Colin Turnock:
Here we go again, Jade. Another win for Eastern Europe. I didn't finish my point in my earlier post when I suggested two separate shows. The winners of each show (Eastern and Western Europe) should then face each other in a 'sing-off'. The only problem would be to decide where to draw the line between the two Europes. Personally, I would put Finland in Eastern Europe and Norway in Western Europe.
Colin Turnock:
I know you said in your last 'Six in the city' column that you weren't exzctly pleased with the suggestions you get for your Saturday column, Jade, but do you think my idea for two contests and a 'sing-off' is worthy of a mention? No? Oh well, it was worth a try!!
