Skins Live in Liverpool tonight...

The inaugural Skins Live Tour rolls into Liverpool tonight...
Series 2 of Skins finished this month… but fear not, the makers of E4’s groundbreaking show are taking the Skins lifestyle on the road throughout April and May.
Acts on the Liverpool bill are a veritable who’s who of up-and-coming names on the indie/electro scenes with The Teenagers, Ladyhawke, David E. Sugar all playing live, plus a host of decks-based wizardry from tour DJ The Freelance Hellraiser as well as Osymyso.
Skins casting scouts will also be on the look-out for new faces. Everyone who buys a ticket will be sent a short script which they can use to audition for a part in Series 3.
“We’ve been hunting for identical twin girls and a Polish guy through SkinsLife.com and we’ve had a fantastic response, says Skins co-creator and executive producer, Bryan Elsley. “We’re now looking for all sorts of people for Series 3 - from extras all the way up to lead roles. The auditions will take place at every Skins Live party, so look sharp.
As if that wasn’t enough, musicians looking for their big break can win the chance to share the stage with these big-name acts by entering their material at SkinsLife.com.
The winners will be selected from the SkinsLife users’ favourite entries. The best of the user-generated material on the site will be featured at Skins Live parties… and maybe even in the show itself.
“We’ve had some brilliant music posted in our Parties competitions at SkinsLife.com, says Skins’ Head Of Music, Alex Hancock. “Everyone here liked one particular track so much, ’Jenny Jones’ by Paper Heroes, we’re using it in Episode 9 of the current series.
Tickets for the Skins Live Tour are only available from www.SkinsLife.com for £10.
