THE Kooks have announced they’re putting on an intimate gig at the Barfly next Thursday...

As part of the Radio 1 presents series, they’ll be introduced by Zane Lowe.
The band will be performing tracks from their upcoming second album, Konk, as well as some favourites from their acclaimed debut album Inside In/Inside Out.
Zane says: “We’ll put the Kooks in a small room in Liverpool with some very excited fans and throw it through your speaker. It’s going to be awesome.
The Kooks play barfly on Thursday March 6. Highlights of the show and an interview with the band can be heard on Zane’s show. For more details log on to www.bbc.co.uk/radio1.

Secret gig? There's a massive advert for it in the NME...
Danny Riley:
Got tickets to go tonight, but am confused... the venue claims age 14+ but its says 18+ on the tickets. Any ideas, cos my mate is only seventeen?
