"We are The Loves," says singer Dave, "Individually known as Dave Love (singer/rhythm guitar/songwriter) Kyle Stanley (drums), Chris Shrimpton (lead guitar, songwriter) and Ste Allen (bass).
"We're just cutting our teeth in liverpool at the moment, getting any gigs we can and doing our best to make a name for ourselves around there. Me dad always told me that if yer band isnt known in Liverpool then it isnt known at all."

The best piece of advice I’d give someone thinking of starting a band would be… write some tunes, find some like minded mates and just see what happens. The best bands are all mates first, and it takes a lot of the pressure off the performance if your three best mates are on stage with you. If it looks like your having fun it makes it better for the audience watching you as well.

The best thing about playing live is...that feeling of being a star for 30 minutes of the night...it's great when people actually know your tunes and clap along or sing the words, there's absolutely no feeling that equals that. The flipside is when you play the Dog and Duck on a wednesday night to all of three people, but if you treat every gig like its Wembley you'll have more fun.

I love…Oasis, the 90's, writing tunes, 80's cartoons, mod culture and my Nintendo ds

I hate…the smoking ban, and the way people label each other "chav" "emo" "goth" n all that madness...stop pigeonhoing yerselves and just be yourself!!

I want…us all to have more time for each other

The best thing on television is…Heroes! or the new show the guys from Peep Show are doing

If I could be in any band, apart from The Loves, it would be…Girls Aloud. I wouldnt mind being in Lily Allen either but that's a different story.

No-one knows this, but…when I was 10 I was arrrested for the heinous crime of robbing three Cadburys Creme Eggs.

If money was no object I would…have bought the Creme Eggs

My perfect day would be…any day spent with yer mates is a perfect day :-) I wouldnt wanna plan it too much ,i just know it would involve alcohol, friends,and a 90's disco.....

I dream of...pencil cases with "the loves" on them. Would that be selling out?

learn guitar earlier...get yer arse in gear now
