We're putting together a list of musician-friendly gig venues in Liverpool, and also further afield, and we are looking for your help.
Have you played a great venue? Somewhere where you got a good deal, had good facilities or helped you get a great crowd? If so, could you send me the details, listing:
venue name
location
the contact there (who to approach to get a gig)
the deal (if they charged you, how much, if they took a percentage of ticket revenue etc)
capacity (if you know it)
why it was so good!
I'll be compiling the list along with Merseyside musician and promoter of all things music Alun Parry. Then it'll be avaiable free online as a kind of touring database for any musician looking to get a gig in Liverpool, and wherever the list covers.
We're particularly keen to find free venues, or even venues that pay musicians real money - so if you've got one of those to add even better!
