Korova will play host to a trio of top artists next week for a night of eclectic music, and best of all entry is free...

The eLevAteRs are hottest thing on eight legs right now. They’ve got soaring harmonies, killer hooks and  melodies that’ll stick in your head all day. Once encountered, you just cannot escape from their infectious, exuberant take on life that is 100% Nu-Scouse, and 100% brilliant! These lads are riding the Cultural Wave, as Liverpool remembers what an amazingly important place it is in the global music scene, and gives us a taste of the next North Western music revolution, that’s just around the corner.
It only takes one trip to the band’s myspace to discover they have epic songs waiting in the wings, ready to take the charts by storm, with Pieces, from the first bars of that delicious jangly guitar. Coupled with Phil's emotive vocals, this band an uplifting breath of fresh air who will lift you to a better place.
Miss King and The Kougars are fast making a name for themselves as this summer’s ones to watch. Lead singer Miranda King emerges like the sister of Rufus, Mika and Patrick Wolf, splicing the glam prowess of Bowie with the tenderness and off beat theatre of Kate Bush, along with a whole lot of infectious songs. Paddy Boom from Scissor Sisters named their song ‘Disco Sunshine’ as one of his top 10 tracks of the year.
Miss King teamed up with Liverpool’s finest, The Real People, and together they have been putting the finishing touches to a debut album due for release in the autumn.
The third act on the bill is Kush, a Hendrix-inspired band from the Martin O’Shea stable.
Described by Prince’s guitarist as “The Mohammed Ali of guitar players”, Kush frontman Kirk spent most of 2006 writing his forthcoming album in Ibiza.
