They're all going on a summer holiday....

Four Merseyside bands are coming over all Summer Holiday and heading down to London in a double-decker bus on Thursday to play a one-off showcase, and best of all they're offering fans the chance to come along for the ride.
The four - The Cubical, The Pedantics, The Regimental and The Wild Eyes are heading down to the Enterprise in London to show the new sound of Liverpool.

The Cubical have recently signed an American record deal with Record Collection and recorded an album with Dave Sardy and they are organising the event to help promote Merseyside bands. The bus leaves at 12.30pm and returns at 3am. Tickets are £25 for transport and entry to the gig and organiser Jason says bring a packed lunch! To book your place call him on 07726611154.

Top songs this afternoon:
Fire - Jimi Hendrix
The Bends - Radiohead
I Am The Resurrection - The Stone Roses
Like A Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan
Space Oddity - David Bowie

Oh that takes me back! I'm thinking of the Cliff Richard movie, with Una Stubbs and the gang, having a whale of time on their double decker holidays! So which of the lads gets to play our Cliff, and is there a Una going along!!

Sorry, forgot my e.mail address.

No way was Una Stubbs in that thing with the bus! It was the Young Ones, with that Rik Mayall and What's his name who was on that singing program, that reality TV one, who were on that bus, they went over a cliff in it. Come to think of it, I don't even thnk Cliff Richards was in it, but he might have been. Was that the one with the hamster? Is this the place to put my top 5? 1. Iggy Pop - Raw Power 2. The Undertones - teenage Kicks 3. the Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the uk 4. The Clash - London Calling 5. Lou Reed - Vicious
The Priory:
gr8 idea guys - but you should be heading north instead of south! come to glasgow great music - good times :The Priory
Jason Reposar:
I was on the bus and I have to say it was more like Cheech and Chongs up in smoke if you need to make visual comparisons. The bands were amazing but the upstairs busking / singalong on the ride home made the night legendary. Hopefully they will do this again on a weekend and head up to Glasgow. Mega!
