Home Thoughts From Abroad

Hello,
I've been away for a couple of days, and worst of all I left my iPod at home, so I'm now revelling in having music once more! I've spent the last few days desperately trying to hear something even slightly musical - I've even enjoyed phone ring tones and terrible shop muzak.
I come back to find more emails than I know what to do with. One of the more exciting is from John Hyatt, of eighties post-punk band The Three Johns, who has launched some solo stuff.

John, who is lead singer and lyricist for The Three Johns, has been putting together some experimental pieces along with his celebrated art work and beautifully lyrical writing. Have a look at http://www.myspace.com/johnxhyatt or see the Three Johns at http://www.myspace.com/thethreejohns.

Today's top tracks, which celebrate having music on tap again:

Moving to New York - The Wombats
Attraction - Nine Black Alps
All This Talk - Crane Brothers
Walk On By - Dionne Warwick
Locked Out Lover - Whiskycats

The Three Johns? They're not still going are thsy? Never and Always and Teenage Nightingales to Wax are classic tracks! I used to have them on record, but I haven't heard them in years!
